Tym Big Mud Triangle
The Tym Big Mud Triangle is a handmade fuzz pedal based on the classic Triangle fuzz designs from the late 1960s and early 1970s. Known for its full, round bottom end and rich harmonics due to the use of NOS TO-5 transistors, it offers a distinctive fuzz tone with a less scooped mid-range. Hand-built in Brisbane, Australia, this pedal provides a unique take on the classic fuzz sound. While the design is based on other fuzz pedals, this one focuses on a balanced sound with a focus on harmonics.

These are my handmade clones of the “original” old school sustain/fuzz made around ’68-’73 that known to many fans as the Triangle version.
These are full sounding fuzz with a less pronounced mid scoop and lower output than some others in the series but have a big round bottom end. Check my blog for more details.
These have the least amount of gain from this series but with lower gain comes “harmonics”. These are considered by some to be the best version of this company’s fuzz design. I now make one version (previously a modern and vintage version) with carefully selected NOS TO-5 "tin can" transistors for superior harmonics.
All of my pedals are hand made by me here in Brisbane, Australia using locally sourced components where possible and custom made enclosures. All the Tym effects on this site are constantly being hand made and uploaded for sale as they become available. I do not do presales/preorders or holds on ANY of my hand made stuff.
