Tym Big Mud Reverse Mud
The Tym Guitars Tym Big Mud Reverse Mud is a hand-made fuzz pedal, based on the V3 circuit, offering more gain and low-end with enhanced clarity compared to the Big Mud. Reverse engineered from a vintage '77/78 model, it delivers a full-sounding fuzz with a less pronounced mid scoop and higher output, creating a wall of fuzz with added harmonics. Each pedal is meticulously hand-made in Brisbane, Australia, utilizing locally sourced components.
What Tym Guitars say about the Tym Big Mud Reverse Mud
This is very similar to the Big Mud as it is based on the V3 circuit which has more gain and bottom end than the Ram Head but this has slightly more clarity than the Big Mud. Reverse engineered off an original “Reverse logo” from around ’77/78 and uses the same component values and transistors as the original.
These are full sounding fuzz with a less mid scoop and more output than some others in the series. These have more clarity and harmonics than my Big Mud but still create a wall of fuzz. Check my blog for more details.
