The Tech 21 Hot-Rod Plexi is a distortion pedal that emulates the sound of a modded vintage Plexi amplifier, utilizing all-analog SansAmp technology. It offers a tight, responsive tone and can transform any clean amp into a roaring Plexi. The Hot-Rod Plexi provides both 'Stock' and 'Hot' modes, with the 'Hot' mode adding an extra pre-amp gain stage for up to 28dB of boost. The 'Thump' control adds low-end frequencies for a 4x12" cabinet sound.
