FAT Philosopher

The Pigtronix FAT Philosopher combines compression and overdrive in a dual footswitch stompbox, offering a versatile range from studio-quality parallel compression to high-gain lead tones. It features a modified Philosopher’s Rock with a parallel BLEND control and a FAT Drive, providing infinite clean sustain and germanium distortion with tube-emulated overdrive. This pedal is designed for both live performance and studio recording, enhancing the sound of any instrument or track. The FAT Philosopher includes Send & Return jacks for inserting additional effects and operates on 9VDC with an included 18V supply for maximum headroom. This pedal has the compression of the Philosopher's Rock and the overdrive of the FAT Drive in one unit.
