The EarthQuaker Devices Hizumitas is a fuzz pedal designed in collaboration with Wata from the band Boris, faithfully recreating her Elk BM Sustainar. This pedal delivers crushing, heavy distortion and fuzz tones with smooth sustain and an underlying grit, offering a dynamic and versatile response to playing dynamics. It features unique Tone and Sustain controls to shape the distortion character, an all-analog signal path, and true bypass circuitry for a uniquely different sound. It offers heavy saturation with a gritty edge and massive bottom end. If you want to break up your tone and cut through the mix, the Hizumitas delivers, similar to the tonal capabilities of a Big Muff or Fuzz Face.
