Prunes and Custard

The Crowther Prunes & Custard is a hand-made distortion pedal designed for both guitar and bass. This unique pedal features a two-stage circuit with a preamp and a special wave-shaping distortion stage, generating strong odd-order harmonic overtones. It offers a range of effects, from swept filter sounds to intermodulation effects reminiscent of a ring modulator. The Mix control blends the preamp and distortion outputs, while the Drive control adjusts the preamp gain. The Guitar/Bass switch adjusts treble roll-off.
